PM 7t/65:37; 2mi/18:37 warmup, 5x800 (800).
splits= 3:20 (5:54), 3:34 (5:45), 3:32 (6:02), 3:20 (6:05), 3:22 (6:01).
My first intervals since the injury. My first time landing on my midfoot since the injury. This was also done on a snow-covered track. I thought the track would've cleared up a bit after I did my warmup on it, but it did not get much better at all. Splits were really slow and this workout was tough. Did not feel confident after this at all.
W/11 0 Lower leg hurt, stomach hurt, had a headache. Didn't think I'd be able to do a workout the next day if I had gone through with running this day.

Planned on doing something a lot less pathetic than this but I knew my body would not feel well on Saturday if I went any harder than this.

PM 2mi easy 14:48 (7:24) Webster-Slater st. + 4x~180 strides.
Spring break started, this was my first run from my Dad's new apartment. Surprisingly, this easy 2mi was really easy and relatively fast. Those two weak interval workouts I did were huge. I felt a load more confident for the race following this easy two and strides.

S/15 0 off/Sunday. Got out of bed and fell right back down! Calves were wrecked after racing on my midfoot. Poor gastrocnemious had not undergone any level of stress whatsoever close to what I put it through in the race.
Weeks Totals= 31 miles
I was really nervous and not confident at all with the workouts going into the race, but Friday's stuff turned that around completely. I had a wonderful experience in my first race in 11 months.
